Project Architect

ABOUT ROLE

As an Architect, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive architectural and interior design solutions from concept to completion, primarily through a digitally driven and client-focused workflow. This position requires a strong balance of creative design thinking, technical expertise, client communication, and remote project coordination to ensure high-quality outcomes and complete client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle of projects, beginning with client onboarding and concept development and continuing through detailed design, execution coordination, and post-completion support. The role demands precision, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a virtual environment.

Job Responsibilities: As an Architect, you will be responsible for

Project Initiation

• Conduct an initial virtual meeting with the client to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Gather and review any existing plans, photos, and documentation provided by the client.

Concept Development

• Develop preliminary design concepts based on the client's input and requirements.
• Present initial concepts to the client through virtual meetings, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations.
• Incorporate client feedback and refine design concepts accordingly.

Design Development

• Create detailed architectural and interior design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with the design vision and budget.
• Prepare 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs to help the client visualize the final design.

Virtual Presentations and Reviews

• Schedule regular virtual meetings with the client to review progress, discuss design details, and make decisions.
• Provide digital presentations and documents for client review and approval.
• Address any client concerns or requests for modifications promptly.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Collaborate with other team members, such as structural engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive design implementation.
• Share design files and documents through secure cloud-based platforms for easy access and collaboration.

Documentation and Specifications

• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Provide detailed instructions and guidelines for contractors and suppliers.

Project Management

• Oversee the project's progress remotely, ensuring that the design is executed according to the approved plans.
• Conduct virtual site visits and inspections using video conferencing tools to monitor construction and address any issues.
• Coordinate with the client and contractors to resolve any design-related challenges.

Final Review and Handover

• Schedule a virtual final review meeting with the client to walk through the completed project and ensure satisfaction.
• Address any final adjustments or punch list items.
• Provide the client with a digital package of all final design documents, specifications, and maintenance guidelines.

Post-Completion Support

• Offer post-completion support and virtual consultations to address any questions or concerns the client may have after project completion.
