ABOUT ROLE
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of construction projects to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction. This role acts as a critical bridge between design intent and on-site execution, requiring strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and hands-on site management.
You will work closely with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure that construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, safety norms, and project timelines.

Initial Consultation
- Participate in the initial meeting with the client and the project team to understand the project requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Review any existing plans, photos, and documentation provided by the client.
Project Planning
- Assist in developing a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure the construction plan aligns with the design vision and specifications.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Construction Oversight
- Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Coordination and Collaboration
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive design implementation.
- Communicate any design changes or updates to the construction team and ensure proper execution.
- Act as a liaison between the construction team and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progress.
Resource Management
- Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and labor are available and properly allocated.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor resource usage and make adjustments as needed to stay on track.
Quality Control
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds standards.
- Conduct inspections at key project milestones to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Address any deficiencies or issues immediately to maintain project integrity.
Safety Management
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
- Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain organized records of all project documents, including plans, drawings, specifications, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare and distribute regular progress reports to the client and project team.
- Ensure that all documentation is updated and accessible to relevant team members.
Problem Resolution
- Identify and address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the project team to develop solutions and ensure project continuity.
- Escalate significant issues to senior management as needed.
Final Review and Handover
- Schedule a final review meeting with the client and project team to walk through the completed project and ensure satisfaction.
- Address any final adjustments or punch list items.
- Provide the client with a comprehensive package of final construction documents, including as-built drawings, warranties, and maintenance guidelines.
Post-Completion Support
- Offer post-completion support to address any questions or concerns the client may have after project completion.
- Coordinate with the client and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing satisfaction.
